We are a USDOT licensed interstate common and contract carrier servicing the Mid-Atlantic Region in the state of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. We also hold intrastate common carrier authority in the state of Ohio.

What We Offer

The uniqueness of Ohio Intra Express being a total owner operator company, there is no competition with company-owned trucks. With that being said, we hold our owner-operators to a higher standard for equipment, and driver safety compared to other companies. Our focus has been primarily being a flatbed carrier, focusing on the steel industry. Our daily goals are to provide our service to our customers with the best experience, safely and efficiently. With a great backbone of owner-operators, we are able to move volume better than the bigger companies.

Who We Are

Established in 1986 by two long time trucking company owners Paul Chadderton of Ed Chadderton Trucking Inc. and John Kerola of P. I. & I. Motor Express, Ohio Intra Express was opened to provide the independent owner-operator a better alternative company to be leased with without requiring them to belong to a union.
